Faith, It's Not About The Outcome

Are you willing to believe that He is worthy of you following after Him? For you to give your life in service to Him?

How often have we gone to God and offered to make a business deal? "Lord, I swear, if you do this, I will never do that again".

We have seen what He is able and willing to do. We've heard the testimonies of our fellow brothers and sisters; we have our own testimonies as to what God has done in our lives! But still, we find ourselves wondering if God is going to show up during a particular situation. We have this idea that we know what is right for our lives. We think we know how our lives should look, and what it will require to achieve all that we want.

But what if, what we want isn't what God wants? What if God isn't willing to move the mountain that we want Him to move? Are we willing to trust that His plan for our lives is good?

What it really, truly means to trust God, to believe in Him, is to follow Him, not dependent upon the outcome.
