Our Home
We are an inner-city, non-denominational, Christian Church; a model of the New Testament Church found in the book of Acts, experiencing the presence and power of God in awesome ways! Located in the heart of downtown Pontiac, a city full of brokenness, our Church stands as a light among the darkness. Our home, once a bar, has been transformed into a work of beauty through the generosity of donors, to no debt of our own! God has been so good to us!
Our Family
We are a fellowship of believers, an ecclesia, who've experienced Christ in a life-changing way. Before coming to know Him, we were lost, surrounded by destruction, but by the grace of God, we've been made new creatures! We loudly proclaim the message of God's free and sovereign grace. We bear witness to the miracles and wonders He is doing through us and for us, to accredit our Church and transform the lives of His people, our community, and our city!
Our Calling
God has called us to serve His people, to share the knowledge of His grace with those who are lost and broken. So many, after years of hiding, years of drug abuse, have seen their lives dramatically change through the work God has done inside of them! They've surrendered their lives over to the will of God, they've found peace and purpose in the arms of our loving Savior, and together we see what God is able and willing to do; true miracles only possible because He made it so!
The chief end of man
is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever!
Our Purpose
The Gospel of God's free and sovereign grace is a message fitted for the most undeserving! It's contents expresses the sovereignty of God and gives Him all the glory for our salvation. Our assembly is one that finds fellowship with one another in the bonds of the Gospel, and our purpose is to share His good news with the most needy; Christ came to save sinners, and He did so in His doing and dying!
Our Vision
Our vision is to establish a local, New Testament Church in the heart of iniquity, built by the converts who were totally lost and without hope, who've come to know Christ, who posses a burden and desire to connect with their fellow human being, bearing testimony to one another; to see thousands like us, experience His regenerating power, overcome their demons, leave behind their past, and relinquish control of their lives to the will of God; to transform a city, build a community, and reach the broken with His message of grace!
Our Strategy
Brothers and sisters who wish not to simply absorb information like a sponge, but addicts reaching addicts, bearing testimony to one another, demonstrating the miracle God has rendered within themselves; who have a burden and desire to connect with their fellow human beings, to create generations of disciples, to share the good news; God has come to save sinners, and if you are one, you qualify!
